About Corporate Stories (Who Am I?)

My name is Anthony (Tony) Jeanetta. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and began Corporate Stories Marketing in 2020. Like many people, the COVID-19 pandemic forced me to re-examine my priorities and career path.

So, after five years of working on in-house marketing teams, I struck out on my own. I’ve worked with clients ranging from local businesses with less than ten workers to national companies with 100+ employees.

What is Content Marketing?

Like many aspects of the marketing industry, content marketing is oft misconstrued or misunderstood.

 

Content marketing is crucial to inbound marketing, which reverses the traditional marketing flow and helps potential clients find your business. Your company produces content to provide value to potential customers in your target audience through content and inbound marketing.

 

Essentially, content marketing is about creating educational marketing material. Material that isn’t necessarily about the products or services your company provides. This material – or content – helps drive customers to your site and, eventually, your products/services.

 

Why Does Storytelling Matter?

“Tony, I’m not in Hollywood, and I’m not an artist, so why should I care about storytelling?”

Storytelling, like content marketing, is vital to your company’s marketing efforts, whether you know it or not. So, if you don’t actively engage in storytelling, you may be missing out on potential customers and additional business.

 

Research shows that stories are the most effective method of transmitting vital information and values. Moreover, past studies have demonstrated stories also help humans better retain information. In fact, couching information in stories can result in 6x-7x more retention.

 

Does that mean every company needs to publish a novel based on its founding? No! But every piece of information you provide is part of your story. I help ensure you’re telling that story in the best way possible and through the most effective means.
